| CCOA is a private non-profit human services agency located in Idaho, established in 1973 and offers an array of senior and community support programs. We began the Kincare Grandparents support program in October 2003 to meet the growing needs of the increasing number of grandparents and other relatives raising related children.
Kincare offers assistance in forming and sustaining support groups for families and children in a “kincare” situation. There are currently support groups in Caldwell Idaho, Nampa Idaho and Weiser Idaho. Plus the GAP group in Boise Idaho.
Kincare also offers other family support programs that may be helpful to grandparents and others in the role of parent. These programs include: Homemaker, Chore, Respite, Transportation, Prescription Assistance, Medicare Education, Weatherization, Adopt-A-Senior, Representative Payee, and ECHO.
